Hello !Friendica Support,
uUnfortunately, the #fancybox #addon does not work for me. When I insert images in a post, the images are still displayed in the old gallery.

I'll try it out here in the forum with a picture as well.

And here is the post of me where it does not work:

@Montag Images needs to be added to the end of the post to be displayed using the FancyBox addon. They are bundled in a special attachment section, unlike images in the post body. Please feel free to reach out to @grischa (or @Grischa ?), the author of the addon.

Too bad, then the fanxybox works only when the images are inserted via API, in the web interface it does not work. Or is there a possibility in the web interface?

Then I have to create an issue later. ;-)

I tried this in a test post and unfortunately it doesn't work. In a test post I created with Tusky the fancybox works. When closing the fancybox, however, the "old" gallery opened as well

Can it be related to the fact that the test posts were not public?

No, the fancybox is not opened even for public posts. I will deactivate all addons one by one, see if I find something.

As @Hypolite Petovan stated correctly, fancybox is enabled only in post attachments. For a simple reason: I still don't know, how to switch of that old lightbox popup. So I try to avoid to open fancybox where the old popup shows up. Sometimes the old popup pops up unexpected sadly ..

@Hypolite Petovan Sent me a pointer to where the lightbox is installed and hooked to that images.
@Montag I disabled this hook in fancybox now and install fancybox for them now.
Your cat post here is loaded in my friendica with fancybox now, allowing to scroll through all your cat posts. :-)
I will test this a little more and will sent an update to the repository later.
